My Honda Lease is up.... Now What?

If your Honda lease is coming to an end you may find yourself wondering what you're supposed to do next.  Don't worry, you're not alone!  There are 100's, maybe even 1,000's of people out there just like you asking the same questions.  You know what puts you in a much better position than them?  No, Okay I'll tell you.  Unlike them, you get to read this Blog!  So you are already ahead of the game!

There are many different ways you can go when it's time to turn in your lease.  Here are just a few:

Option 1:  Trade it in to Fox Honda and pick out a nice, shiny new one!
(This option is the most often used.  It's easy, convenient and best of all, you get to drive off in a Brand New Honda!)

Option 2:  If you Love your Honda so much, Buy it outright!
(The great thing about Honda is the fact that they hold their value so well.  The reliability and performance is just an added bonus! ;).  The other good thing about buying out your lease is that it erases the need to get it inspected.  If your warranty is up, don't stress about it!  Fox Honda offers great protection plans that will cover you even after your lease is up.  It's really a win-win situation!)

Option 3:  Return your Honda to Fox Honda even if you didn't lease it here!
(If you're reading this Blog then there's a good chance you are already a Fox Honda customer.  If you're not, no worries.  We still like you anyways!  Option 3 is one of our personal favorites.  Customers who lease their vehicles tend to take better care of them.  We would love to take that Honda off your hands and offer it to someone else so they can spend the next 3-5 years enjoying it just like you did!  In doing this good deed, you can also put yourself in a brand new Honda and join the Fox Honda family!  To do this, you just need to schedule your free vehicle inspection during the last two months of your lease.  Any excess wear and tear that exceeds what is allowed will be your responsibility however.    But you don't beat on your car, do you?!)

Well there you have it.  I hope this was helpful to you if your lease is coming due.  Be sure to check back for another helpful tip from the Fox Dealerships!

Dodge Hits the Mark with the All-New 2013 Dodge Dart Compact Car

Dodge Dart Blends Alfa Romeo DNA and Dodge's Passion for Performance Resulting in a Groundbreaking Car with the Ultimate Blend of Power, Fuel Economy, Handling and Style

The Dodge brand is back in the U.S. compact sedan segment – in a big way – as the all-new 2013 Dodge Dart will make its world debut at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan on Jan. 9, 2012
Built on a world-class architecture, Dodge Dart offers three technologically advanced, fuel-efficient and powerful engines including the 1.4L MultiAir® Turbo
Dodge delivers exceptional craftsmanship with class-leading technology and style

2013 DODGE DART
Dodge redefines performance in the compact car segment with an all-new, state-of-the-art four-door sedan delivering class-leading aerodynamics – the 2013 Dodge Dart.

With Alfa Romeo DNA and Dodge's passion for performance at its core, the all-new 2013 Dodge Dart is a thoroughly modern vehicle that's fuel-efficient, beautifully designed and crafted, agile and brings fun back to driving in the segment.

Similar to the Dodge Dart of the late 1960's, the 2013 Dart offers a special blend of style, performance and innovation. The Dodge brand leveraged its nearly 100-year history of passion for building high-quality, innovative vehicles that stand apart in performance and style, as well as from its partner Fiat's global compact car expertise, to develop the all-new Dodge Dart.

ALFA ROMEO DNA
The all-new Dart is the first Chrysler Group vehicle based upon a Fiat architecture – adapted from the award-winning Alfa Romeo Giulietta. The Giulietta is renowned for satisfying the most demanding customers in terms of road-holding, agility and safety, with exceptional driving dynamics. The Dart leverages all of these attributes within a lengthened and widened platform delivering segment-leading levels of interior roominess.

The all-new Compact U.S. Wide (CUSW) architecture underpinning the Dart is a state-of-the-art architecture with an industry-leading 68 percent of the body composed of high-strength steel, resulting in a very strong and rigid structure. Combined with responsive steering, four-wheel independent suspension, and available 18-inch wheels, the Dart brings fun back to driving in the compact car segment.

UNMISTAKABLE STYLE
The all-new 2013 Dart marks the Dodge brand's re-entry into the compact sedan segment, hitting the bulls-eye with a modern, unmistakable Dodge design that builds upon its performance heritage while evoking emotion, efficiency and fluidity of movement.

Eye-catching exterior proportions are set off from every angle by dynamic lines and curves, along with advanced technology, to deliver class-leading aerodynamic performance. The personality-packed front view is instantly recognizable as an all-new Dodge with its tailored split-crosshair grille, projector headlamps and fog lamps and accentuated fenders. Signature Dodge full-width LED 'racetrack' tail lamps and class-exclusive integrated dual exhaust – both inspired by Dodge Charger – accentuate the athletic and muscular stance of this dynamic and passionate new design.

THREE SOPHISTICATED, FUEL-EFFICIENT & POWERFUL ENGINES
The 2013 Dodge Dart will be powered by three fuel-efficient, powerful, state-of-the-art four-cylinder engines that add to Dart's fun-to-drive quotient.

Drivers can select from a new Tigershark 16-valve 2.0-liter engine, a 16-valve 1.4-liter MultiAir Intercooled Turbo engine, and a new Tigershark 16-valve 2.4-liter MultiAir four cylinder engine. These three engines, combined with three transmission choices, combine to redefine performance by providing the most diverse powertrain lineup in its class.

MultiAir technology delivers optimum combustion at any speed under all driving conditions by allowing direct and dynamic control of air intake and combustion. The result is up to a 15 percent increase in low engine rpm torque, a 7.5 percent improvement in fuel efficiency and a 10 percent reduction in C02 emissions.

THE ALL-NEW DART – BUILT IN AMERICA
The all-new Dodge Dart will be made in America, at Chrysler Group's Belvidere Assembly Plant in Belvidere, Ill. The Company is in the process of investing $600 million dollars to support the production of future products, including the 2013 Dodge Dart. The investment includes the construction of a 638,000 square-foot body shop, as well as the installation of new machinery, tooling and material handling equipment. Work on the expansion began in the summer of 2010 and will be completed this year.

The all-new Dodge Dart has been engineered with great levels of refinement, craftsmanship and engaging driving dynamics. Consumers can follow www.Dodge.com/Dart for additional photos and more information about the all-new 2013 Dodge Dart.

Get your vehicle ready for fall!

Where did the summer go? It’s already time to start thinking about end-of-the-summer maintenance. The non-profit National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence offers these tips to get your car ready for fall driving:

• First, read the owner’s manual and follow the manufacturer’s recommended service schedules.
• Have engine driveability problems like hard starts, rough idling, stalling, and diminished power corrected at a good repair shop. The colder fall weather will only make existing problems worse. Make sure that you replace dirty air, fuel and PCV filter.
• Change your oil and oil filter as specified in the owner’s manual. If your driving is predominantly in the city with a lot of stop and go, consider changing it before the recommend time period.
• The cooling system should be flushed and refilled as recommended. The level, condition and concentration of the coolant should be checked periodically. Also have the tightness and condition of drive belts, clamps and hoses checked by a certified automotive technician.
• Make sure your heater works.
• Have a certified auto technician check your battery and its connections.
• Inspect all lights and bulbs and replace any that are not functioning. Clean road grime from all lenses with a moistened cloth or towel.
• Have your vehicle placed on a lift and the exhaust system examined for leaks. The trunk and floorboards should also be checked. Exhaust fumes and carbon monoxide can be deadly.
• Make sure that you check your tires for remaining tread life and uneven wearing. Check the sidewalls for cuts and nicks. Check the tire pressure at least once a month.

Vehicle Review ~ 2011 Dodge Charger

The 2011 Dodge Charger has hit the showroom here at Fox Chrysler Dodge Jeep and WOW, it's a sight to be seen! If looks and muscle are your thing then the 2011 Charger does not disappoint. Here's what the guys on Autoblog had to say about it: "Lift the hood of a 2011 Dodge Charger R/T and you'll find a powerful 5.7-liter HEMI engine bursting at the seems. It's a joyous site that gets better when armed with the knowledge of the HEMI's prodigious power - 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque, to be exact. But just how accurate are those numbers? The folks over at Inside Line put the Charger R/T to the test on their dyno, and it appears Chrysler may be underplaying its hand. Test by Inside Line show that the Charger R/T sends 360 hp to the rear wheels at 5,300 RPM, with torque peaking at 393 lb-ft at 4,260 RPM. When you consider that the average drivetrain accounts for a 10 to 15 percent power reduction before its all sent to the wheels, you're looking at a powertrain with a lot more bite than the company brochure cares to admit." Those are pretty strong words! Whenever any company, let alone a car company undersells their product that has to be a good thing. Come in to Fox Chrysler Dodge Jeep and see one of these awesome machines in person. I promise you wont be let down... *Full credit goes to Autoblog. To read the full story click here.

The Force will guide you!!

If you are in your mid twenties to mid forties, there is a good chance you are like me and grew up loving the Star Wars movies! One of the characters I grew up loving was Yoda. He was cute, little and his voice and words kept me captivated. While browsing the Web the other day I came across something that I thought was pretty cool. If you have a Tom Tom Navigation unit, you can go to their Website, TomTom.com and download character voices for your unit. How cool is that? They have Yoda, Darth Vader, CP30 and Han Solo. All four characters have something different to say. I don't know about you but this would easily make my trip to work everyday a lot more fun!

If you have time, check out the Website for yourself. It's pretty neat and I may go out and buy a TomTom just so I can have it. Yoda just happens to be my 5 year old sons favorite as well. I know he would get a kick out of it!

Below is a YouTube video on the making of Yoda's TomTom voice. It's pretty funny IMO and will be worth your watch!
